A Sound Journey / Sound Bath Friday 4th December, 7:30pm to 9:30pm (entrance from 7:00pm onwards).
Location: South Wootton Village Hall, 22 Church Lane, PE30 3LQ
An introduction to a deeply relaxing 2 hour experience of being bathed in sound. Through the use of vibrational instruments such as the gongs, Himalayan bowls, rattles, Native American drum and flute and other shamanic tools including the voice. Your mind, body and breathing can enter a state of stillness physically and mentally by being immersed in a bath of sound waves that gently promote the release of tension, emotions and blockages caused by the stresses of daily life.
A sound journey is similar to a massage of the mind and body but with the intentional use of shamanic tools .Reasoning for this is to promote grounding, releasing of physical and emotional stressors and to enable a deeper reconnection with the mind and body and breath.
Please bring along an air bed, camping mat, pillow or cushion and a warm blanket to keep warm when lying down on the floor. When lying down you will gain the full benefit from being in this position. Tea and biscuits and cake will be provided afterwards. We will have to be finished by 10 pm.
